Tango Music
The music for Argentine tango is a mix of European music, notably Italian, Spanish, and German.
A sextet usually plays the music for a tango performance, and the originally German bandoneon (“bandonion” in English, named for the instrument’s German inventor Heinrich Band) is the most famous and classic instrument of the tango’s orchestra.
The bandoneon looks like an accordion and has buttons on either side of the instrument to push and pull to make a sound.
