Practicing Tango
Milongas are all over Buenos Aires and are going on every night, though for the newcomer to Tango, going to a matinee milonga that usually runs from 17:00 (5pm) to midnight is more comfortable setting for practicing.
Some good, relaxed, milongas to try are Plaza Bohemia (+54 4581-0014), which opens at 18:30 (6:30pm) and closes at 2:00 in the morning, or La Glorieta (+54 15-6304-8185), which takes place outdoors in the residential neighborhood of Belgrano (see Belgrano in Buenos Aires section).
Practice until dawn at Milonga de las Morochas (+54 4953-2794) or try Nino Bien (+54 15-4147-8687) in San Telmo (see San Telmo in Buenos Aires section) neighborhood, one of the most popular milongas in town.
