Etiquette of Milongas
First and foremost, dress appropriately and to impress, meaning women in heels and men in proper shoes rather than trainers. Also, be polite in accepting or declining offers to dance, and know that accepting a dance means dancing for the entirety of the tango song playing.
Men will lead women onto the dance floor but be wary of other dancers already dancing—they have the right of way.
Though talking to your partner may be considered polite in some countries, when dancing the tango in Argentina making small talk is generally not okay.
While dancing, if your partner makes a mistake, do not correct him or her, merely compromise and continue dancing.
