Pronouncing the Double L

In most Spanish-speaking countries, one pronounces the double “L” like a “Y” sound; however, in Argentina the “LL” and “Y” are pronounced with a “SH” or “J”-like sound. 

For example, instead of "llamo" pronounced "yamo", it would be "shamo".
