Cafe Culture

Although take-out coffee and chain cafes such as Starbucks have become popular recently, Argentina has traditional cafes on almost every corner. Even in only five minutes of free time, many Argentineans order an espresso and then go on their way.

In Buenos Aires especially, there is a coffee delivery system in which cafes will deliver a coffee in a glass cup on a tray from the closest cafe.

Another part of the social cafe culture includes leisurely and lingering coffee hours without being bothered by café or restaurant management.
